Here we will attempt to test your knowledge of AA History. We also guarantee a sprinkling of lessor known and little known facts! You may be asking yourself right now..."Self, why would these guys even spend the time to setup web pages like this?" The answer to your first question to us is simple. Because we have FUN doing it! After spending any amount of time here you find that we are NOT A GLUM LOT! Our sobriety has been greatly enriched and strengthened by the simple fact that we gain a greater understanding of this program by the study of our history. (Plus the people we meet along the way are the best in the universe! People just like you!)

The Bar Cams
Why are the Bar Cams Included in THIS web site? So we can remember what we USED to be like. The LAST thing we alcoholics want to do while we are drinking is take a test. ANY test! Then, the FIRST thing we do AFTER we put the plug in the jug is LOOK for ways to check and see if we are STILL alcoholic! TEST after test after test. We put these cameras into the site so you can go to a bar and still stay sober. Yes, you get an A+ on the test! And you stay sober to boot! Watch the guys on the ends of the bar. Each time you refresh the screen by hitting the reload button his drink is either up to his mouth or down on the bar....up, down, up, down. Sound familiar? "BUT NOOOOO", you cry! "I'm the guy LEAVING the bar with the pretty girl! I can go BACK and drink successfully!" Dream on! Remember what REALLY happened? The girl would leave and WE would turn to our buddy and say "She'll never know what she missed! Can I buy you another? Better yet, YOU buy ME one!" And there we sit, until they close the place or we run out of money, which ever comes first.

These pages are a listing of the AA meetings in the 49 cities in the Inland Empire Region of Southern California. Here we can provide the newcomer with a non-threatening way to find his or her first AA meeting. There are hundreds of meetings going on at any given time in this very active area. Once we have gotten over our initial fear of being alcoholic, we find that the LIVE Central Office is a great place to be of service and meet great sober folks and have some fun too!
