How much was Lois making at the department store? Was that store, Macy's?

Reply: Sometime around 1931 Lois went to school to learn interior decorating and started working at Macy's shortly after finishing school. Couldn't find a date but was sometime in 1931, because in January 1932 Bill showed up at her work with flowers and a present for their wedding anniversary. He also gives her a check for $2,500 he earned doing some investigation work. After a night on the town, Bil ask for the check back and Lois is crushed. She started off at Macy's at $19 a week plus 1% commission on any sales. She left Macy's in March 1934 and began working at Frederick Loeser's department store in Brooklyn for $19 dollar a week and 4% commission. She quits Loeser's in February 1936.

Hi Doug;
Tim here from sponsorship website. A few interesting (?) trivia Q s;

Q:What Vermont town was Bill W. born/raised in?
A: East Dorset, VT. (the site of a former small granite quarry where Bill's Dad worked)

Q: What Vermont town was Bob S. (alias Dr. Bob) born/raised in?
A: St. Johnsbury, VT (three hours north of East Dorset--"Saint J's" is a little bigger than E. Dorset, but still on the "where"? list. Thanks for the great anniversary card; you guys are the best; God bless you in this new year.

Yours in Fellowship;

Reply: Bill's date was the date of his last drink,
Bob's date was the date of his last drink,
Bill D., AA #3's date was the date of his last drink...I guess your date is up to you.
