Hey Joe, where ya goin with that Big Book in your hand? I first heard Joe in my early sobriety, and how he said it was as important to me as what he said. He always sounded like he new what he was talking about. He shared with love and didn't need to defend his beliefs or convince me to adopt them. His love convinced me that what he shared was the way to get the love that flowed through him, and not a pedantic know-it-all. He is still a Chanel Master, cuz when we listen to him or read his writings we can feel God's love flowing into us. I still hear ya Joe.

I was guided to a CD set of them speaking. I am not an alcoholic but a sexaholic that was struggling with step 4. The clarity and simplicity of there explanation is awesome. Ive only known them a week but they have touched me tremendously even though they have passed on. I hope to talk to them in the future. God Bless you all and may we all stay sober.

I just wanted to say that Joe had died while I was still drinking - I'd not even heard of him or been to A.A., but once into A.A., beaten half to death by my alcoholism and wanted to die, Joe and Charlie sold me on the idea of recovery via the Steps. Just about four years sober, here, very grateful to both these guys. Thanks.
