Am a newcomer to AA and have been listening to the "Joe and Charley" talks on my computer. I am enjoying them so much and they make the BB so real. Joe's death is a great loss to AA.

What an inspiration Joe was and how grateful I was to get to meet him just a few months before he died. I am forever greatful for "The Steps We Took" and "Recovery Dynamics" and all the other wonderful tapes and liturature he provided. You will be missed, especially at Serenity Park.

Over 10 years ago while living in Arkansas, I had the upmost pleasure to meet Joe and went to alot of his meetings as well as participate in one of his Big Book studies. It was very exilarating!!! I learned so much how to live sober and clean from him!!! I am very fortunate to have known a great as man as he.

Iwant to thank Joe for his dedication of recovery through the book which is our text.May the family understand that Joe helped to make thing right in the movement and that God was with him all the way.i am trying to do the same thig here in fl. with many other men and women that know the truth. the rehabs hv=ave this idea that AA does not work. You ask yourself why? because AA over the last thierty years has failed, but your joe knew this and was doing something about it.I am greatful and loved joe. but never had the opertunity to do so - I am now , joe was a hero to me. may the lord richly bless you and the family.
