I haven't had the honor of meeting Ms. Wing. Still, her work has helped build and remember the history of the organization that saved my life. It saved the life of my ex, and now my son is getting sober. I'm 20 years sober and I'm enjoying the miracles that come with working the AA program: happiness and self respect are far from the least of these miracles. Thanks to Ms. Wing's dedication and persistence, this fellowship survived and flourished, and the history is made available for those of us who look in awe...

It is only by knowing who we are and where we have been that we can move forward to what we are meant to be. Our history is vital to guide our course and make sure this gift is available for those in need for generations to come.

My deepest simpathy on your loss. When truly dedicated people pass, it is a great loss, but when those who helped bring about and dedicate their lives to the birth and conservation of such a program as AA, then we are all the the presence of a miracle. She will be missed. With Simpathy, Joe Bundura

Nell Wing was not an alcoholic but rendered great service to AA. She was scheduled to
speak here in Springfield, MO at the 50th Anniversary in 1995, but fell ill and was unable to attend. She was very kind and gracious.
